Colormix is a custom gift box manufacturer in Guangzhou, China, producing rigid gift boxes, magnetic presentation boxes and multi-item gift sets from 500 pcs per size. Digital samples take 3–7 days; production-line samples take 7–10 days, and bulk runs 15–22 working days after approval. Structure, board grade and finish are chosen from the product, the gifting occasion and the unit cost, then produced against a signed sample.
A gift box is bought twice: once by the brand, who pays for it, and once by the customer, who judges it in the seconds before the lid comes off. That second transaction is what separates a gift box from a shipping carton, and it is decided by board thickness, the closing method and how the interior is finished.

A rigid gift box built on 1.5-3 mm greyboard holds its shape and reads as a luxury gift box. A folding gift box costs a fraction of that and ships flat. Most gifting ranges run both at different price points rather than choosing one.

A magnetic gift box, a lift-off lid and a ribbon-tied box all open at a different pace. That pace is a brand decision before it becomes a production one, and it drives the dieline.

Printed or suede-lined interiors, foam cradles and ribbon pulls stay visible for the whole time the box is open, which is exactly when the product is looked at.

Seasonal gifting cannot slip. Sample approval, bulk lead time and shipping cut-offs are planned backwards from the delivery date, and multi-item gift sets are produced in one run so colour stays matched across the components.

A rigid box describes the construction: greyboard wrapped in paper, which holds its shape. A gift box describes the job: a box built to be handed over and opened slowly. Most gift boxes are rigid, but a printed folding gift box is also sold as gifting when the budget is tighter.
Yes. Gold and silver foil, blind emboss and deboss are applied to the wrap before the box is assembled, which keeps registration accurate on the lid.
