Terms of Use
These terms cover this website and the quotations issued from it. Production orders are governed by the quotation, the approved sample and the order confirmation issued for that job.

1. Who we are
Colormix Packaging is a packaging supplier based in Guangzhou, Guangdong, China. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Colormix Packaging; "you" means the person or company using this website or requesting a quotation.
2. Using this website
The content on this site is provided for general information about packaging structures, materials and processes. You may read it, print it and quote it with attribution. You may not republish it as your own, scrape it at scale, or use the site in a way that interferes with its operation.
Photographs on this site show packaging we have produced. They illustrate a structure, a material or a finish; they are not a promise that an identical item will be delivered, because every job is produced to its own specification.
3. Quotations
- A quotation is prepared for the specification described in it — structure, dimensions, board, print, finishing, insert, quantity, packing and Incoterm.
- Prices are valid for the period stated on the quotation. After that, board and freight costs may have moved and the job is requoted.
- Changing the specification — a different board, an extra finish, a new size, a different quantity — produces a new price, because each of those changes a real production input.
- Prices exclude duties and taxes in the destination country unless the quotation says otherwise, and exclude any cost arising from a change requested after approval.
4. Placing an order
An order exists when we issue a written order confirmation and you confirm it in writing, normally with the deposit stated on it. Until then, either side may walk away without liability. The specification on the order confirmation, together with the approved sample, is the reference for production.
Minimum order quantity is 500 pcs per size. Each size carries its own minimum because each size needs its own dieline and cutting forme.
5. Samples, tooling and artwork
- A digital sample takes 3–7 days; a production-line sample takes 7–10 days. Sample and tooling costs are quoted before they are made, and credited against the bulk order only where the quotation says so.
- Signing off a sample confirms the structure, dimensions, colour and finish. Production is matched to that signed sample, within the tolerances stated on the dieline and quotation.
- Dielines, cutting formes and print plates made for your job are charged as one-off tooling. They are used only for your orders unless you agree otherwise.
- You confirm that you own or are licensed to use the artwork, logos, fonts and images you send, and that producing the packaging does not infringe anyone else's rights. We do not reuse your artwork for another customer.
6. Lead times
Bulk production takes 15–22 working days after sample approval. Lead times run from sample approval and from receipt of a complete, print-ready artwork file — not from the date of the enquiry. Freight transit time is additional and depends on the mode and route quoted.
7. Delivery and risk
Delivery is made on the Incoterm stated on the quotation — FOB, CFR, CIF or DDP. Risk passes as that Incoterm provides. Where we book freight on your behalf, we book it as your agent and are not responsible for a carrier's delay, strike, customs hold or force majeure event.
8. Payment
Payment terms are stated on the quotation, normally a deposit on order confirmation and the balance before shipment. Where a balance is unpaid when goods are ready, we may hold the shipment until it is settled.
9. Inspection and claims
Please inspect the goods on arrival. If something does not match the approved specification, tell us within 14 days of delivery with photographs and the carton numbers, and keep the goods available for inspection. We will repair, replace or credit the affected quantity. Claims for damage caused after delivery, or for a specification you approved, fall outside this clause.
10. Liability
Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. We are not liable for loss of profit, loss of market, or indirect loss. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China. The parties will first try to resolve a dispute by discussion; if that fails, the dispute is referred to the competent court at our place of business.
12. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in force for an order is the one published when the order was confirmed.
